At the options menu, press A, C, A, C, A, C, A, C, B(x4). If done correctly, you'll be taken to a screen where a message and a smiley face of David Perry will appear (the co-developer of Virgin Games), and you'll hear Aladdin say 'Yeah!' • Level Skip

On any stage Pause the game then press: A, B(2), A(2), B(2), A.

• Life from Mickey ears

In the Desert level, you will come across a washing line with a pair of Mickey Mouse ears hanging up. If you position Aladdin in the correct spot, he will move slightly forward if you aren't pressing anything and his head will appear to be wearing the hat. This causes a life to appear.

• Secret life on Desert Level

If you turn around from the start you will find 4 apples. If you go past the tree on your right and then go back to these apples, you will find an extra life waiting in the middle of them.

• Secret shop in Desert Level

You will come accross a pillar which has a picture of Goofy on, if you jump while behind it, you will fly upwards into a secret shop.

3. Disney’s Aladdin on both the Sega Genesis and SNES is an action platformer so the way in which Aladdin himself interacts with the world is largely the same. Aladdin can run, jump and throw apples at enemies in both games, but in the Sega Genesis game you get a sword for close, melee strikes.

• Escape Rug Ride

Just can't get through the rug ride? Well, to skip the rug ride level, just die 3 times and the game will go to the next level.

• Extra Life in Desert

Once you have hit the scarab for the first time, run past the spikes until you reach a pillar with a picture of Goofy on it. Jump behind this pillar and it will take you to the merchant. If you run to the left, you will find an extra life.

• Hidden Merchant

In the Desert, after you get the first scarab, and go past the two connecting trees, there are 2 columns holding up the higher floor. Kill the snake and go BEHIND the second column. Jump up and you'll fly up the a secret place. There is a merchant there where you can trade gems for Extra Lives (5 gems) or Continues (10 gems). To get down, go to the very left, and there are stone steps that you can go down and continue your mission.
